I Knew You For A Moment

~Corinne Zar’ya _______~

April 23, 1990 – January 7, 2009

Beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin, girlfriend, and friend

“If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say good-bye,
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

My heart's still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more,
To remember all the happy times.
Life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today,
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.

God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.

I Knew you for a Moment.”

I have read your posts over the last year and was worried when I saw that you had not written since Christmas Eve, I thought it may be as having 5 under fives had kept you so busy, I have had a very simular age gap, although mine are now 16, soon to be 15 and a soon to be 14, and I have a 9yr old and a soon to be 8yrs, so I know the toddler years are the busiest. Today I checked your post, and I saw why, I am so sorry for your family's loss, I lost faith in God a few years ago, and if I am being brutally honest it was reading your blog and that of McMamma's (although it was you that got me reading her blog with your Not Me Monday)has made me understand and believe again. I hope your family find strength in these tough times and my prays are with you and your family. xxxxx

Lia...I'd been checking the blog to see if you had updated anything and I found your post. I am so sorry for your loss and I know there are no words to bring comfort when we lose someone we love so much, it's in Gods hands now. I will pray for you and your family to get through this most difficult time and for God to take away the pain and give you all peace. Please know my thoughts are with you....((hugs)) carleigh (dana)

I am truly heartbroken for you and your family to experience the loss of a sibling is a pain I know too well. There are no words that will take away the pain, but knowing that God's purpose is not always in our understanding, but that faith can get you through any situation is the best healing power around. With everday that passes it will become easier to live a little more. I will defintely have you and your family in my prayers.
